The chinese snakeheads (Haruan Cina) are members of the freshwater perciform fish family Channidae. These elongated, predatory fish are distinguished by their rainbow colouration, moustache-like upper lip, long dorsal fins, large mouths, and shiny teeth. They breathe air with gills, which allows them to migrate short distances over land. Sightings of this rare fish are incredibly infrequent with only 7 recorded instances of it being seen since its discovery in 1995.
